Babies News

This month, our topic is called ‘At the beach’

The babies will be looking at the different creatures that live in the sea and looking closely at them. We will be exploring seashells and looking at the different textures they have. We will also be having fun in the sand, building sand castles and filling an emptying. The babies will also be listening to the different sounds you hear at the seaside.

We would like to wish all our babies good luck in their new section. We will miss you.

This month the tot’s will be continuing with ‘Under the water’

The children will be learning about the different types of transport you can use on and under water. We will be carrying out floating and sinking experiments which involve the children identifying objects they think will float and ones they think will sink.

The children have been showing interest in messy play. We will continue this interest by exploring 3D printing foam, painting and making our own playdough.

We will also be celebrating Eid.

Our topic this month is ‘Under the Sea’

The children will be looking at and discovering animals which live under the sea. We will be using the tablet to research and look at a variety of sea creatures. We will be using nets to catch our own fish and using our number skills to count them. We will be exploring water and turning it to ice and also watching the ice melt.

The children enjoyed the outdoors last month by going on bug hunts and growing our own broccoli. We even picked some home-grown broccoli and cooked it for our dinner. The children also enjoyed exploring the mud kitchen and creating their own mud pies.
