The George Eliot offers the following Nursery Education Funding
George Eliot Kindergarten offer the government nursery education funding sessions for all eligible children. All information relating to nursery fees and how the government funded hours can be allocated can be found in out terms and conditions which are provided during registration. Further information is also available in the nursery Flexible Funding Agreement and the Admissions and Waiting List policy.
We also accept childcare vouchers, payments from the GOV UK tax free childcare accounts and also accept students who pay via their college or university.

George Eliot Kindergarten offers several sessions to support our families. We provide childcare for children aged between 6 weeks and 5 years, Monday to Friday between the hours of 7.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. The nursery is open 52 weeks a year and is only closed for Bank Holidays. We also provide a holiday scheme for school aged children, so if you require further information please contact the nursery.
- Fees are calculated on a monthly basis and are payable one month in advance via bank transfer. Invoices are produced monthly and emailed to parents/carers. Please note we do not charge for bank holidays but nursery fees will still apply for children’s periods of absence for example, illness or personal holidays.
- George Eliot Kindergarten charge a non-refundable registration fee of £30.00, we do not charge a registration fee for funded only places.
- We request that children attend nursery for a minimum of 1 full day or 2 sessions per week this is to help them settle well into nursery life .

Our nursery fees include all meals, drinks and snacks and we work with you to only provide food which meets your child’s dietary requirements.
If you do not wish to access the nursery food, there is also the option of you providing your child with a packed lunch. We do promote healthy eating, so the link below provides ideas for a nutritional lunchbox.
